Pogon Szczecin neemt op gruwelijke manier afscheid van haar stadion

Pogon is a Polish football club playing at the highest level: the Ekstraklasa. Playing in dark blue/burgundy red, the club has an eventful history.

In 2006 it was the first club in Polish football to have eleven foreigners in the starting line-up. One year later, how could it be otherwise, the club was returned to the fourth level. The reason: financial problems. Five seasons later,  Portowcy played at the highest level again. Pogon plays in the beautiful Florian Kryger Stadium.

Named after an important coach, the stadium was completed in 1925. Last week was the last game ever on the program. Unfortunately, the club is moving to a dime-a-dozen stadium. Eternal sin. Photographer Los Misenas captured these delightful images!
